OK, I know it's been eight long years...
...but, it's OK to like your President.

In fact, it's OK to really, REALLY like your President.

It might even be OK to love him a little.

It's a sad life having to suppress strongly positive feelings because the other side is doing all it can to make you feel ridiculous for liking your President.

Eff the other side. They lost. They're not enjoying this particular ride. Don't let them spoil yours.

The man's job as a leader is to LEAD -- it's not "hero worship" if the people who elected him genuinely like him and are ready to be led.

So, post picture threads. Be vocal in your approval of the job performed thus far. Unabashedly support the man you voted for.

Lord knows we all worked hard enough for that right over the past two years.

OBAMA!

3. Nothing wrong with liking our President.....
although we are certainly out of practice at this!

But it feels different, somehow than the last 8 years. That I am sure of. :)

4. It's like we have been slogging through a sewer for 8 years.
We finally get to take a nice long soapy shower with hot clean water to get the crap off of us. Oj, so it isn't the fancy tub with all those jets we wanted but damn it feels good to be clean again.

5. Old habits die hard...
I was talking politics with my neighbor, who said she thought Bill Clinton was a great president. I agreed, and caught myself saying what I had been saying for the past eight years: "I wish he was still our president." Oh wait! I don't have to say that any more. I like the one we have now, too.

6. And if he fucks up, I will criticize him
He is not beyond criticism. But so far, he has done a wonderful job, and it is GREAT to have a President you aren't embarassed by.

7. To err is human but I can't imagine Pres. Obama messing up
that badly in any area. I think the only thing we can really criticize, thus far, is 'strategy' and we all have opinions on that.

8. Not yet, but he will mess up at some point in time
Nobody's perfect. I never did like the appointment of Judd Gregg, but it is his choice. But so far. But I respect him and I like him as a President. He has only been office for 3 weeks for heaven's sake.

9. Yep, that goes back to 'bipartisan strategy' and I've complained
about that, too.

10. Agreed, I might disagree with the policies some, but
doubt that I'd know how to carry things out better. Obama is really a talented politician.
