I had bookmarked the page and just found the bookmark. It's a fun read.

1. WTF is wrong with these people?
"McCain - 283, O - 255. The cities burn.

And looters in my sight get shot, never to loot again.

Bortz told a hostile caller today that he expects rioting regardless of who wins, by the same people."

Lovely, advocating shooting people. Notice how when Obama won the kids in the cities celebrated peacefully?

19. There was lots and lots of careless talk about "rioting" on FreeRepublic, pre-Election.
They were convinced anarchy would break out regardless of whether Obama won or lost, because you know how "those people" get after NBA games...:eyes:

there’s 538 EV, so if one party has 270, the most the other can have is 268

3. Oh my, post #232 by "Harry Wurzbach" is a riot
He of the "Joe The Plumber & Rep. Thaddeus McCotter are my heroes" tagline.

The final run of the Reality Poll™ for the 2008 presidential election is in.

Popular vote forecast:
McCain 52%
Obama 47%

Electoral vote forecast:
McCain 316
Obama 222

This race was never as close and certainly never so slanted to Obama as the mainstream media made it out to be. He was never able to close this race and he's been exposed for the radical left-wing Marxist and racist from a nutty part of Chicago that he is. It is disturbing that someone so far out of the mainstream of American society could actually come this close to inhabiting the Oval Office. It would be as if the GOP had actually nominated Ron Paul and the mainstream media made it their life's work to get him elected.

McCain does a good job holding Bush's '04 states tomorrow. He only loses New Mexico. In addition, McCain picks up Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and the surprise of the night, Wisconsin for the win.

What a bunch of twits.

4. What was surprising was how out of the mainstream someone like
George Bush would win..twice. Or at least steal it twice.

"It is disturbing that someone so far out of the mainstream of American society could actually come this close to inhabiting the Oval Office.

"Inhabiting the Oval Office..."

Like Obama's got a campsite in there with a tent and a campfire fed by the broken pieces of Oval Office furniture!

Like "Survivorman"

6. Wonder what kind of news supplier this one deems as centrist. Let alone conservative...
"As someone who has not had TV in their home since 1997, on the rare occasion where I have seen it (hotel rooms and airports) I have always seen fox as liberal, just not quite as liberal as MSNBC and the others. It’s why I don’t watch."

10. Utterly disturbing. When Faux is not conservative enough perhaps
its time to move to another country.

8. Too funny! I had forgotten about the riots.
The Freepers were all predicting riots if Obama lost, or riots if he won, or riots in either case. Do you suppose even one of them has noticed that there were no riots?

9. I remember reading that.
The "McClown in a landslide" idiots had me rolling. That election was pretty much a done deal by 10 PM. Apparently they grossly underestimated how badly Bewsh and the Pukes pissed off the American people. You KNOW shit's bad for your party when Ohio, Florida AND Indiana, a state that's voted GOP for straight decades, go blue.

13. Here's a good one.
To: MrLee

You Mr. Lee are correct, landslide for Obama, with hundreds of incidents of voter violation and many courts being flooded with counts and recounts. It will go to the Supreme Court, and George W. Bush will stay in power, calling the NEW Congress to elect the next President...Hillary Clinton will be the winer.

Ha ha! It turned out that the republicans were the winers.

18. It bothers me a bit that the Freeper archives are easier to search than our own.
I have no star at the moment, but even when I did, it was easier to use their search engine than ours to find posts from the week of the election. Now, it's practically impossible IMHO.
