To hear them speak, you would think they are all scholars on our economy. If they think they know so much, then where were they when Bush had this economy slipping down the toliet?

I made the mistake of turning on "Morning Joe" this am, and I swear, if everyone on there seemed to think they knew how to fix this economy--starting with Joe Scab. For those who saw it, who was that dark-haired woman that Joe kept referring to? She was dripping with gloom and doom.

2. When the MSM started booking all of their hotel stays at Holiday Inn Express?

They're not economic experts, but they do play them on TV!

4. It's the know-it-all nature of the business

They think that if they're fed a few talking points to look over for 10 minutes that it automatically makes them more of an authority than the rest of us. Most of these people are ingrained to automatically give the Republican point of view the benefit of the doubt because Movement Conservatism has been so skilled at framing the debate in their favor. Even now in the midst of an economic crisis you don't really see the validity of tax cuts as a solution being attacked much. You also see Republicans get away with crazy things like all of a sudden pretending they are fiscally conservative deficit hawks. Reporters and commentators will refer to Republican concerns about deficits with a straight face, even as they almost all voted for Demint's 3 trillion dollar tax cut amendment.

These people simply believe they automatically know better than the rest of us.

5. Why not listen to them ...
... it was the "economic geniuses" with doctoral degrees from Yale and Harvard that got us into this mess.
