How the hell is CNN running this as their headline? |
|
http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/02/18/foreclosure.plan/index.html\\ "Republican's Question Forecloser Plan" The thing is hardly out the door and the sharks in the media can't even bother to report it. Instead they report it's opposition. CNN is revealing its true colors.

They are all doing the same thing. Earlier today MSNBC's |
|
was Afghanistan:Obama's War
Unless I wasn't paying attention, I never saw Bush's War. It was the fight against terrorism...or Defending America. They make me sick. I have got to get a job soon just to get away from this crap.

It is the Clinton years all over again. All out attack on the Democratic President. Every policy questioned and every decision disected to the nth degree.

7. Can we consider this possiblity??? The Republicans have "sold" |
|
themselves as the party of ideas, they are the party of business in worse sense possible. AIn other words GOP have trained their members when speaking always speak with authority. (Give a sense that you know volumes whether you do or not). In other words they have convinced the Media they are the authority or most knowledgeable party. Therefore anything financial the Media turns to GOP.
I am a Proud Liberal but can we be honest, how many in our Party fight to get on TV to give a Democratic Position on Financial Matters. Too often, they come off as me too.
I rarely say anything critical about Tweety, but today he ticked me off.
Even he said Obama concerns him because is not confident--"does not know what to do about the Banks." I say there is no Republican who knows more --- If you look at who got us here it was Republicans. (starting with Greenspan).
I believe Obama has good advisors and they will come up with an answer.
Please keep it out there--Conservative Economics got us here! Repeat after me Conservative Economics got us here--Thank you Regan, Greenspan, Cox and the List goes on.

13. CNN is just doing what media does, looking for the juiciest story and what breeds juiciness? .. |
|
Edited on Wed Feb-18-09 07:34 PM by Hellataz
It's not peaceful coexistence in our government. The most read stories are about conflict, they can't attack obama like they could go after Bush, so now the stories are about how the GOP sees the president and his policies. I have seen pro Obama stuff on CNN as well, i do not think they are in the tank for anyone. But the simply fact is it's not viewed as "interesting rating grabbing news" unless someone is fighting over something.
Another fact is that the GOP is going after the president and CNN, like other stations are reporting about it. And because they are going after him, the media has an abundance of "the GOP hates obama" stories to fill their rotations. I'm sure there are new reporters who are slanted one way or another on all stations, but i really don't think CNN is trying to attack Obama at every turn, they are simply looking for a story and unfortunately most media feel that only negative stories get ratings.
I see nothing wrong with the headline, i'm sure the republican DO question his proposal, like that wasn't a given already. But It's not fair to accuse CNN unless the headline states "CNN breaks down why obama's plan is a bad plan". Which i've not seen them do, i've seen that on fox though.
