Her liveblogs of Parliament Hill Committees are especially fun and informative.
In fact, she is about the only political reporter in Canada whose reporting can be said to be both "fun and informative".

I see from google alerts that her liveblog on Obama day has been picked up by Wonkette. Comedy central's Indecision is calling her "Canada's sassiest political blogger"! http://blog.indecision2008.com/2009/02/19/canadians-welcome-barack-obama-like-hes-the-reincarnation-of-tim-horton/

8. I'm doing a little catch-up on her blog and I am laughing so hard, my cat came running... |

1:11:00 PM Okay, these security guards really need to go to some sort of hat-sensitivity training camp — they’re all waves and smiles when I take it off, but on first sight, I can see their fingers twitching reflexively. Just because it’s so big that it covers half my face doesn’t make me a walking incident in the making. Although a few more hours under this state of securanoia and I might be, but it would be a passive aggressive *Canadian* incident.
1:35:41 PM Crisis! Crisis! I accidentally left one of my berryholders in the bucket at the West Block security checkpoints, which isn’t actually *that* far, as the crow flies or the nearing-the-breaking-point Hill staffer trudges, but the thought of going all the way back through the tunnel only to discover that they’ve, I dunno, blown it up like a forgotten lunch outside the US Embassy — it hardly seems worth it. I’ll just carry one in my hand, which, at this point, is pretty much what I’m doing anyway.
rofl, she is absolutely priceless! No wonder they are calling her "Canada's sassiest political blogger", she has earned it!

9. Here's my favorite clip |

In her posting on the Obama-Ignatieff meeting: 5:39:13 PM Okay, he’s here (Ignatieff), and he looks somewhat ebulliant — he’s sorry he’s late, but the meeting ran late. Meeting? What meeting? Oh — right.
Anyway, they had a substantive discussion...
And (Obama's) read some of Ignatieff’s books. TAKE THAT, HOCKEY BOOK! < http://blog.macleans.ca/2009/02/19/after-the-o-liveblogging-michael-ignatieffs-post-meeting-press-conference/>

I loved it when, after formally greeting harper, he insisted on going back outside to acknowledge the crowd of thousands waiting to see him. He is pure class, imo.
The difference in the smiles on President Obama's face and harper's was quite interesting, imo. Harper's was the typical politician's fake smile while President Obama's was a genuine grin of real enjoyment.
I am very curious to read Kady's take in this, should be good!
Edited to add: She has now updated and it is great!:
"11:40:54 AM Did he - he did! He waved! And the entire lawn waved back. I’ve honestly never seen a Hill rally made up of such entirely happy people.
11:43:49 AM Okay, that was totally worth the shoeful of slush and the semi-frozen fingers. Now - back to West Block. I wonder who I’ll see in the security lineup this time? Next update in — probably fifteen minutes or so, depending how busy the scanners are at the moment."
