At the so-called "Durban Review Conference" on racism and xenophonia underway in Geneva, Europe again put forward language condemning “all forms of discrimination and all other human rights violations based on sexual orientation.” According to UN Watch, "The Czech Republic on behalf of the E.U., with the support of New Zealand, the United States, Colombia, Chili on behalf of the South American states, the Netherlands, Argentina and a few others, took the floor in support."

I too am surprised that there are not 250 posts on this. It is a victory and should be celebrated. Let me put it another way. Let's say that we women got together and really followed the many times society discriminated against us. Each time our candidate appeared to slight us we joined in mass to voice our outrage. And then one happy day, our candidate takes a stand for women around the world and we fail to show up to applaud. I for one am celebrating another example of Mr Obama being true to his word, and doing the right thing.

It seems he's doing as much as he can do, as quickly as possible.

He did take a stand for women too, as we know. Very beautiful and very appreciated.
