Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele says his party is going to launch an "off the hook" public relations campaign that will update the GOP’s image by translating it to "urban-suburban hip-hop settings."

When they first named Michael Steele chairman of the RNC I had a vision of a bunch of rich old white men sitting around a table gumming stogies and saying, "nyaah, our black guy can beat your black guy."

That’s about as sophisticated as their thinking ever becomes.



Having ruined their brand with the logical and inevitable consequences of their dumb ideas, the geniuses at the GOP have apparently decided that what they need are not new ideas - they just need to bling up the old ones. Yeah, never mind the disaster their idiocracy hath wrought, a new marketing campaign is just what the doctor ordered. Now if we can just get those kids to think we’re on their side. That shouldn’t be too hard.
