Since everybody knows the cartoonist does not "write" the NY Post.

And the KKK hood is clearly an allusion to the recent conviction of the KKK member who shot his girlfriend.

the way I see it is that a particular human being is dehumanized. Therefore, killing it is then justified. I admit that's a bit out there but that's the final perspective I came to.
