I was one of the nine or ten percent who wasn't in love with George Bush after "Nahn Wun Wun Changed Ever-thang," you see.
And it turned out that I was on the right track, but considerably ahead of most of the nation.
I think Obama is on the right track, too, but he's going to have to continue to work hard because the American public is like a lion with a thorn in its paw--it can turn on you in an instant.

We've got to be better than the GOP was, with cleaner hands and purer hearts, even though the temptation to be greedy and grabby just like they were can be strong. And we can't get complacent and think we're unstoppable. That's how the GOP felt when Doctor "I See Brain Dead People" Frist was running the Senate...
