Obama picks N. Dakotan to run Health Resources and Services
A University of North Dakota associate dean is President Obama's choice to head a multibillion-dollar agency within Health and Human Services that helps deliver health care to many millions of uninsured and underinsured people.

Dr. Mary Wakefield, director of the Center for Rural Health at the UND in Grand Forks, is being tapped as administrator of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
