The Department of Transportation is no place for glamour...(S)o...the First Lady put on a signature brooch, a houndstooth blazer...and a hairstyle she doesn't often choose...

The First Lady's hair is usually styled straight or slightly flipped at the ends. But on a few occasions...she's sported a ponytail or updo...The White House, which fielded a slew of calls over the look yesterday, declined to comment...Exclaimed one D.C. source: "Jeez. She only pulled it back for one second."

Kudos to the White House and the DC source. When I saw the photo, I thought maybe she'd cut the back shorter. But she only pinned it up, which the story admits she's done before--and therefore it's even LESS of a story!

1. I think all it means really, is that they are trying to sell some papers on a Saturday
and they knew if they put a photo of our First Lady on the cover people would buy it.

:)

I found the story on the NY Daily News website--I should have made that clear.

7. My, she's purdy...
it's OK with me if she pulls her hair back.

OK, time for my nap...
