Is There Organized Crime on Wall Street? |
|
About 25 years ago there was this "wierd" news story reported on all the networks, print media, etc. It said that organized crime was going to go into "legitimate" business.
I remember thinking: if legit is as profitable as criminal business, why the hell did they bother breaking knee caps for a living in the first place!? I always wondered what the combination of "Tony Soprano" and legit business would look like, function like, etc. Ummmm..I think we found out!
Think about this----the last gasp of their boy's (Bush) dying administration was to get the TARP bill which they then stuffed a few billion into their back pockets. Could this have been merely the biggest scam organized crime ever scored???

2. I've read a few crime writers who speculate |

that where the old time Mafioso was carrying a violin case his sons and especially grandsons are carrying briefcases with freshly minted MBAs and JDs.

5. Comparing Wall Street to the Mafia is offensive to the Mafia. |
|
Ever look at a bank account, credit card, annuity, variable life insurance policy, or any other investment vehicle sold to normal people. For debt instruments they charge usary rates and for investment vehicles they nickle and dime you for charges if you dare try to move your money.
The mafia is actually more moral. They rip off the government or deal in vices like prostitution, drugs, and gambling or theft and protection. Wall Street preys on all of lower class and middle class America and the world. The mafia's sphere of influence and negative effects are far smaller and less dangerous than the evil Wall Street does.

Capitalism is theft.
Those folks are just higher on the food chain and have others do their dirty work, like the IMF or US armed forces.

11. The Mob has ALWAYS been in legit business: sanitation; food industry; manufacturing; etc. |
|
I, for one, have maintained that Bushco wasn't LIKE the Mob; they WERE (ARE) the Mob. No euphemisms, no poetic license.
Billions on Wall Street and all clean? Bwahahahahaha!
