Shit. Big Media is going to run Jindal campaign for the next 4 years
It will be difficult to turn on Cabal "News" without seeing Jindal's face, followed by a slobbering "reporter" telling how great he was. Where are all the Dem governors' comments on the jobs package?

1. The media is not here for the good of the American people....
They are here to help their bottomline and insures that their parent companies continue to received Corporate tax cuts.

Pencil neck is their guy for the time being.

8. They started campaigning for Smirk in 1998 or so
They must realize that Obama is going to be tough to beat.

3. This is the downside of media picking 'winners' for us. I can't help but think...
folks will be disgusted by him. Refusing money for an impoverished state just because you want to maintain total control over the money is a bald-faced power play. I hope folks see it as that. It's too much to expect the media to depict it for what it is.

23. there is no downside
they can't pick anyone for us (or them). Four years ago Obama wasn't anyone's favorite to win anything. Hillary was the defacto Democratic nominee. Another Republican will step forward regardless of who the media think is the favorite right now.

They tried to (and are still trying) pump up Palin too, before people heard her speak. Jindal can string a sentence together, but I just don't see anything new there. Will people really find him exciting? He's so boring to me.

It's going to be a very hard sell to the independents who actually decide our elections.

He looks foreign...er, I mean "exotic" to me.

Even when they show me the certificate, I won't believe he's a natural citizen.

He looks muslim to me.

15. LOL..but seriously, if they said that shit about Pres. Obama, then why wouldn't they about Jindal?
Edited on Mon Feb-23-09 03:54 PM by ObamaKerryDem
Wouldn't their widespread xenophobia apply there, too? Unless him being a RWer makes the difference, signifying total hypocrisy on their part (which wouldn't be surprising). Still I have a hard time picturing them actually nominating him for those very reasons. I still think it'll be Palin..or Romney. I think if their party makeup is anything like it is now, it'll be Palin, though..but who knows? Pres. Obama will be hard to beat, regardless.

12. Where was his father born?
I bet his documents are forgeries. Even if the state of Louisiana vouches for him, I bet he paid someone in vital records to lie for him. Who is Bobby Jindal?????

20. Naturally the certificate will be a fake
To cover up his true birth in India. Republics are so blatant in their hypocrisy that it is stunning!

According to the theory that Obama is not a citizen because his Dad was born in Kenya, one would think it would apply double to Jindal.

I am amused, however, that the repukes are now following our lead, trying to figure out what's "hot", trend-wise. They will fail, of course, because they just don't have a clue and don't know where to buy one either.

17. Jindal is stuck in a time warp.
Per his performance on This Weak, he thinks the answer to our current economic crisis is ... I am so not kidding ... tax cuts on capital gains. He's good at reciting bullet points, but I don't see anything there that is remotely grounded in reality.

21. Let Gov. Jindal debate Gov. Schweitzer of Montana....
... Then we'd all see the full extent of Jindal's 'talents'.

It would also be the best TV comedy show of the year.

that means the media will be the first to find him diapered by a sex worker in a couple of years.

33. Jindal's on TV more than Kevin Trudeau and Klee Irwin combined
and David Vitter can tell you that in the GOP, wearing a diaper and cavorting with hookers gets a person a standing ovation among the GOP base.
