Any predictions on Pres. Obama's speech tonight? reaction? |
|
Edited on Tue Feb-24-09 01:16 PM by underpants
I heard a little tease this morning on Morning Joe- he will end on a positive note "Obama of the campaign" as it was described
Anyone have any other predictions?
"Nationalize" (bad debt bank) the banks? Nationalize oil and energy? Will he make Chavez look like Milton Friedman according to (insert pundit's name)? Will Fred Barnes self-immolate himself on his turtle shell glasses?

Death, taxes and Republican obstructionism, those are the three certainities in life right now.

will proclaim it a brilliant speech tonight, and tomorrow he will say it was the weakest speech Obama's given.

Indeed, as you switch from one channel to the next, you will be surprised at the remarkable consistency with which the commentators parrot GOP talking points.

And then the insta-polls will show everyone who isn't a Republican or a pundit will overwhelmingly give the night to President Obama. I'll be missing the little focus group dials from the debates showing Obama on the rise and McCain in the toilet.
Good times.

So my guess is he has to be great. Or they will claim it was a let down.
