1. They are all part of the fear and loathing and negativity
that has been dominating this country for eight years. It will take a while to bring them around. Hopefully they will come around because everyone needs good news, imo.

3. They just mentioned how far it fell yesterday...
and still didn't mention today's rally. I agree with your assessment.

12. If you don't believe the DOW has found a bottom, how is a temporary...
(maybe even only a one day)respite "good news"?

14. Just because I don't believe it has found a bottom doesn't mean it hasn't...

and isn't Bernanke testifying today? The market obviously likes what it hears.

15. I agree. the market is probably going to have to fall until it reaches
pre-Clinton levels in 1992 IMHO. Most of our economic "gains" have been imaginary for 15 years or so. Until the market reflects reality it will continue to fall.

5. It is good news. I was afraid we'd see it go below 7,000 soon.
Maybe it can be averted.

10. So was I. It still might, but at least they should talk about the good news
when it happens.

8. Yeah-they're going NUTS with this...
first saying he has to give the people hope and then saying he could lack credibility if he sounds too hopeful. But they DO still have time to mention how far the DOW fell yesterday.

23. It doesn't serve their purposes as it by their definition of
using the negative numbers affect Obama, it would mean that Obama is doing alright if it goes up.
