Republicans don't have an original thought
The replaced a giant like Thurgood Marshall with asswipe Clarence Thomas, just because he's Black.

They replace an accomplished woman like Hillary Clinton with a base, dumb, wildlife killing pageant queeen, just because she's a woman.

Now, we have our first African-American president, and they figure they can just substitute him with a twit like Bobby Jindal, just because he has a similar paint job.

Jesus, don't these people know how stupid they look?

1. They really don't....
Hiring a subnormal freak like Steele to be thier mouthpiece is proof of their tin ears, their heartless, unconcious reptile brained approach to everything.

2. Just thinkin...
After 9/11 it was expected -- in the name of patriotism -- that everybody would pull together, putting aside our differences, etc., and we did, but now, in the face of an enemy far more widespread and (though not the obvious death toll) adversely affecting far more people...in the face of all this, where's that coming together? Where's that automatic need now...to move beyond party loyalty to a larger patriotism? I just don't see it, do you? Who are the grownups and who are the adolescents now? Or, as Forrest Gump's mom said, "stupid is as stupid does!

4. This is the reckoning
The republics are fractured they can't depend on each other.
Every day they lose support.
They're grasping at anything.
The base is now too small to re-elect them.
Some hope Obama will fail.
Most are afraid he will.
It's not a good time to be a Republic.
Now is the time for calm rational action.
That will serve to make them look even more petty and clueless.
