Jindal looks nervous.

Ugh.. Jindal is annoying.. He has alot of work to do before 2012..

Sloooooooooooooooooowwww down Bobby.. I know you don’t have Obama’s hypnosis technique down, but this is brutal.

Me neither. He sounds politically correct, dull, and like he’s reciting from the brain as opposed to the heart.

Palin is much more impressive.

To: Jeb21

Please don’t compare him and Palin. I don’t want a war in here.

To: Jeb21

He can learn to speak better, Palin already has. But theu have the fire in their hearts.

His presentation is like he’s reading a book to a group of 3rd graders.

I guess this is the first time I have heard Jindal speak and he is not that good. I am disappointed. He does not have nearly the speaking skills of Obama.

He looks a bit nervous, but earnest. He’s just warming up.

It sounds like everyone on this thread says Jindal is terrible.

think of the voter base he is trying to reach. It might be a bit above their level. Conservative values are tough to explain to an entitlement mentality.....

He starting to sound better.

To: Jean S

I mean, hell, he’s doing ok. He just sounds a little like Ward Cleaver. The content is decent. Conservative, but non-confrontational. He wasn’t going to give a fire and brimstone speech people.

yea hes doing better now

Did anyone hear Chris Matthews? He thought his mike was off and gave a disadainful ‘oh godddd” as Jindal approached the camera”.

It sounds like everyone on this thread says Jindal is terrible.

He has a sing-song cadence, like he is talking to a group of 4th graders.

It's like Mr. Jindal’s Neighborhood...I'm waiting for him to go hang up his cardigan. Terrible speech, horrible delivery, crappy audio. If this is our rising star we're in trouble.

I must be losing my hearing?
Did anyone besides myself hear him pronounce president w/out the “id”?
The first time he said it I thought it may have been his speeking mannerism. The second time I still thought I heard Present when he referred to O.
Where will I be able to hear it later to check this out?

Less than an inspiring response by Jindal, IMO

Well, he IS at least looking at the camera, but I’m a little underwhelmed by his delivery.

I do like what he has to say, though.

Is this a rebuttal or a campaign speech?

I’m not impressed with his delivery and he’s rambling.

Jindal seems to be improving as time goes on. The content of his talk is good. He could use some speech coaching though.

To: redk

Maybe I wasn’t clear enough that Palin sounds like someone who speaks from the heart as opposed to Jindal who looks like he’s talking with his brain.

I have no intention of starting a war between Palin and Jindal fans. I myself am a Jindal fan, but his speaking skills are mediocre.

Gov Jindal’s appeal is that he looks honest.

I think Jindal is terrible tonight. Of course these ‘responses’ whoever gives them are ridiculous, but Jindal just does not have presence tonight. He looks too young, he sounds squeaky and un-serious. His ideas are right, but it's all about theater these days.

Thank you! Some people on here don’t understand his speech is going after the undecides not giving Conservatives red meat and he started off just fine — actually pointing out he was BORN in the USA!

Jindal sounds much better on CNN then on Fox. Fox is messing with the signal. He is much better on CNN and I liked him before.

Don’t let anyone tell you that its best days are behind you. My kind of guy — optimism which is missing on this thread! American spirit has triumped over almost everything. We are Americans.

I think the people who attack people Jindal or Palin tend to be holier than thou people who lives in the past. Also they tend to be either DU trolls or third party trolls.

5. It was the 2nd place I went for comments
and, it's only getting worse for Jindal in Freeperville.

However, I was truly shocked by how little they think of Average Americans and how publicly they belittle anyone who does not fall in lock-step with their ideology. It's like they think being able to fill out the sign up form for FR is an indication of their intellectual superiority over the rest of the country.
