Damn it felt good everytime they had to do that. And the best ones were when they intended to stay seated, but had to get up half-way through the clapping. Shamed into getting up. LOL

You just gotta love it. Obama pwns them.

They reminded me of Baptists at a Catholic funeral
They had to look at Boner to know when to stand, sit or kneel.

1. He did, he did, he did! I loved it, too!
The thing is, they probably all really like him. How much more screwed up is that?

2. How can you not like the guy, even if you disagree with him?

5. Funny thing is, I agree with him more than I disagree with him.
I don't think I've ever thought that about a president, especially when I wasn't paying that much attention.

3. I am glad you noticed this
because I kept thinking this throughout his speech. It took every bit of energy for the Repubs to rise to their feet but there was a force in the room they could not escape. The expressions on their faces were priceless.

6. great observation - you are so right - they didn't know what the
fuck to do. i actually, for a second, felt sorry for McPain. You could see him - feeling maybe
a bit embarassed, wanting to clap, wanting to cry. He actually dropped the act for a second and
seemed genuine - standing to applaud the rise in student aid. That's crazy - he's never stood
for that, has he?

9. LOL I'm too old to be using that anyway.
I never really knew what it means but I always assumed it means "owns" and that it reached the lexicon through somebody mistyping the word, sort of like "moran" is for us.

I could be wrong, but at least that's always what I thought it means.
