Presidential Historian Beschloss said Obama's speech was a landmark speech
in presidential history because Pres Obama said not just what he would do in a time of crisis, but he gave it a philosophical framework -- we're going to do what we need to now to fix the current problems, but also what we need to do over the long term to address other problems that we would have attacked if we didn't have this current crisis.

Beschloss also said that Obama used political gamesmanship well in making those who oppose his plans look negative.

Beschloss also complimented KO on his knowledge of presidential history.
