This friend of mine had the distinct honor of delivering the rebuttal to the President's State of the Union speech one year. I'm biased, but I think he did a pretty decent job. Much better than Bobby's that's for sure.

Sounds like good ideas to me! And he says he has a plan on how to make that happen! Cool!
He also blames Pres. Bush for letting banks screw up the economy. I think he may be on to something!
He says he thinks we should bring our COMBAT troops home from Iraq ... and that he blames Iraq for distracting us from finishing the job in Afghanistan.
He thinks the problem in Washington is that folks aren't coming together to solve their problems.
He longs for the day that an entire nation had a President they could believe in, one who could rally everyone around a common purpose. Not one who divided the country and left many feeling they had no voice.
It's a shame really, I think my friend would make an awesome President.
But they'll never elect a black man to the Presidency of the United States. :shrug:
