Bobby Jindal's "anti" 2004 DNC Keynote Moment:
as someone on another board put it -

I'd say that this speech was Jindal's anti-2004 Dem Convention moment in that instead of launching him onto the national stage he fell face first into the orchestra pit and ended up with his legs sticking out of a tuba.

I wouldn't say he's completely dead, but all the buzz about the guy prior to his appearance on the national stage has been killed, and he will have to start from scratch building his profile if he's going to get any support or money.

1. Who cares about the national stage? How about the poor state of Louisiana?
Is he actually looking out for the best interests of his citizens?

WHAT A TOOL!

2. But every time he tries to reinvent himself, someone will play that tape
("Tape". Listen to me.) :eyes:

Point being, if it's done right, he will never live last night down. It was his 'John McCain in front of the green screen' moment :D

"I'd say that this speech was Jindal's anti-2004 Dem Convention moment in that instead of launching him onto the national stage he fell face first into the orchestra pit and ended up with his legs sticking out of a tuba."--LMAO! :D Great analogy, though. And I have to say that while I wasn't really surprised the GOP response sucked, I was a bit taken aback at just HOW much so. He's just so.. bland and the cadence of his delivery..gah.x( I was repeatedly tempted to press the mute button. I felt like he was talking down to the audience, not to it. The President would wipe the floor with him if he were to run against him and he was anything like this in the debates. Oh well...bring it on!

4. Bad introductions aren't fatal. He could bounce back, but it'll be a lot harder for sure. nt
