however, in my wet dream of dreams, I was hoping that Sarah the Palin would have been chosen to give the post speech speech. You know? You betcha!
Hell, she could even have read Jindal's teleprompter, word for word.

Not only would it have confirmed that the GOP is truly a party without ideas, morals, rational thinking, and intelligence, it would have given SNL at least two more weekends of great ratings, with Tina doing yet another stellar job.

jindall was better at it. basically, the gop has worked on the pre-prepared script for everything mode since their champion script reader: ronnie raygun. that speech was crafted in some rw think tank lab days before President Obama's address, and it largely didn't matter who read it. if jindall was the best choice, who's next?

5. Whats not to love

Deride government spending on infrastructure as wasteful pork barrel spending. Spend the money on Iraq and tax cuts for the wealthy instead. Let the levees in Louisiana end up decrepit as a result. Appoint an incompetent person to run FEMA. When people tell Mitch Daniels (then head of the budget) that the levees need more funding back in 2003, ignore it. Ignore the warnings that there may be flooding. Pretend nobody told you the levees would fail after they break. Blame the flooding on gods anger towards gays rather than bad priorities and cronyism.


Its amazing that some people really are going to fall for it. The people who caused the problem are now running on it as a reason why they should be back in power.
