I don't know, I'm a little uncomfortable with Obama's speech last night
I mean he never even bothered to lie to us or anything. I sort of feel not violated. It's weird for me.

And that odd sense of elation I had while watching him speak. WTF was that?

I am vexed, terribly vexed.

And Obama walked out, it was just weird, you know?

It's going to take a while.

I believed him... stranger still... and he made me happy too... just freaking bizarre!

22. Thanks!
I made that up shortly after the inauguration when Obama blew me out of the water and gently sat me back down on solid ground... and a guy in my office called him "the saviour" to which I replied, with a smile, "Oh, he's not the saviour! He just seems like it after the past 8 years!"

11. I'm feeling very confused myself--I mean I was not tempted to throw something at the TV
This is very strange--Bush always drove me to hurl the nearest object at his smirking face.

Clinton, well despite the fact that I voted for him in the general elections, I always felt that I'd really rather have had one of his primary opponents--any of his primary opponants. It was only after the Monica Lewinsky affair that I began to warm to him. If the right wing hated him so much he had to have something going for him.

Reagan drove me nuts. Such a great speaker--such terrible policies. I never warmed to Carter until he became an ex-president.

Obama was my second choice (behind Bill Richardson--dodged a bullet on that one) but I voted for him with full confidence and hope. Watching him up there was a treat. Intelligent, forceful and exuding leadership.

At least it means I won't be stimulating the economy by having to purchase a new television.

Plus, he didn't smile at inappropriate times or mangle his sentences to the point of being completely unintelligible. What's up with that?

I'm certainly not used to these odd feelings of respect and admiration for the Office of the Presidency. And what kind of beer-drinking games can we play now-- Pres. Obama speaks clearly, eloquently, coherently, intelligibly... where in the heck is the fun in that? My gosh-- he doesn't even make up his own words!

28. Clean coal is a big misnomer.
There is no such thing as clean coal. The burning of coal seriously contributes to global warming, and the process of cleaning produces even more pollutants. I don't know Obama could have spit that one out of his mouth.

29. I didn't have to run from the room in embarrassment even once. What's up
with that? I used to get a lot of exercise, running away from Bush, running to find the remote to change the channel or just getting so angry that I cleaned my entire house in like 2 hours.

Goodness, now I'll have to go to the gym.

31. I know what you mean.
He was a little too awesome for me.

And he never said "September the 11th" or "young democracy in Iraq" or "It's hard work" or "nucular" even once.

It was disorienting.
