Aside from which, I guess a lot of folks don't realize that a written oath is also signed (which, yes, Obama did on the 20th of Jan in addition to the ceremony).

This stuff is just stupid silliness.
Your "signature" is anything you use or adopt as a mark intended to be your signature.
Outside of those whose law school was "over yonder past the woodpile", a signature is whatever someone uses as such.
