He would be the perfect fit to end the night on during the week.

1. I doubt he wants it.
He likes doing radio.

4. disagree - i bet he'd jump right on board!
and couldn't he still do radio? Rachel isn't doing 3 hours anymore but she still does radio.
Ed is all about advancing... and that's not a criticism.

I'd love to see Ed on after Rachel. And I'd love to see Steph and the Mooks on in the morning.
It would help me wake up right. :)

23. He's Not Limbaught Lite
it's unfortunate... but his voice is creepy similar to Rush Limbaugh, but his politics lie with the Democratic party and he's very pro-union.

5. I wish they would choose 5 progressives
and give them each one night per week. It would give everyone a variety and a chance to watch your favorite people.

6. He gets way to snarky and disrespectful for me. He'd be low hanging fruit.
We need someone who can stay out of the drama, like Cenk or RFK, Jr.

10. MSNBC could use some racial diversity
Edited on Thu Feb-26-09 02:45 PM by Empowerer
Not one of their shows has an African-American host. It would be nice to see MSNBC stir a little coffee into the cream during that hour.

Joe Madison would be a great choice, but there are many others.

12. Maybe try replacing Maddow w/ Schulz,
Edited on Thu Feb-26-09 04:19 PM by Numba6
mebbe he won't be such an embarrassment as she's become

Maddow's main gig: "Giggle, giggle, smirk, smirk, HEY YOU LIBERALS HAVE NO CLOTHES ON! I'm so smart! Obama is breaking another campaign promise by going for a frou-frou dog in the White House!"

19. Rachel has some of the highest ratings and is one of the smartest hosts on tv.
You're the 1st person on DU I heard voice a negative opinion of her.

21. MSNBC has plenty of time
if they'd do with 75% less of the jail programs. They have Friday at ll pm, all day Sat., except for morning, and all day Sunday, except for morning.

The head of MSNBC must have a lot of relatives in prison.
