(CNN) — More than a dozen pieces of jewelry were stolen from former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s Deer Valley, Utah home last week, according to the Salt Lake Tribune.

Park City police told the paper that the thief was likely someone who had access to the house. There was no sign of forced entry.

2. Is there a name for that disease yet?
The one that keeps people returning to the spray on tan booth, time and time again, even though they are now a color that is never found in nature. I'm sure there's some sort of psychological disorder going on here.

4. The Maddow show did a segament on this last night.
You can view the video here, look for the Romney clip: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26315908/#29420789

Somebody stole between 15 and 20 pieces of jewelry from Mitt Romney's Park City mansion, the Police Department said, describing that the person who took the jewelry appears to have had access to the house.

Rick Ryan, a Police Department captain, said the jewelry belongs to Romney's wife, Ann Romney. The police did not immediately have an inventory of what was taken or the jewelry's estimated value.

Ryan, though, said, the jewelry has a "high value."

The Romney house is on the 3800 block of Rising Star Lane, on the eastern edge of Park City. He has been a frequent visitor to Park City for years and used the house often while he led the Salt Lake Olympics.

According to Ryan, there was not evidence that somebody broke into the house. He said workers had been in the house sometime between Jan. 5 and Feb. 16 to work on a shower. The shower was in a bathroom next door to the walk-in closet where the jewelry was taken, Ryan said. The jewelry was in a box on a shelf in the closet, he said.

Ann Romney on Feb. 16 went to get the jewelry and discovered it was missing, Ryan said. The police received the report at 7:30 p.m. that day.

"Certainly we want to talk to the people there doing the work," Ryan said.

The captain said the Police Department does not have a suspect.

Police investigators have asked Ann Romney's jewelry consultant for a list of pieces that might have been taken and their value, but the inventory had not been provided to the police by midday Tuesday. A spokesman for Romney did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment..

:wow: They get to have their jewelry consultant help with the investigation. Perhaps there was actually 30 pieces taken or maybe it was 50 pieces. Let's see the pieces each had a value of 1.5 million a piece. Ka-ching, Ka-ching, Bling, Bling

7. Jewelry Consultant? People are starving and Mrs Romney has
a jewelry consultant? Call me whatever you like but I think this is obscene. Do the wealthy need someone to tell them how to spend their money on jewels?

When I was younger, there is no question that I picked the wrong occupation. I could have spent my working years traveling around, advising those who could afford it, what shade of diamonds and other goodies would best match their daily garb. A little schooling of all the good stuff about gemstones and I'd be all set.

Good grief.

13. Hey, don't make fun of the jewelry consultant!
She's the best, most qualified jewelry consultant that the Romney's consultant consultant could find.
