Stunning. Bush dazzled us with lies and scandals. Obama is using action and progress. How Dare He ! |
|
What a remarkable contrast of approaches. After 8 years of massive brush clearing, wars based upon lies, and trips to Camp David and Crawford - and lulling the media into the safety of not having to do their job AND keep building large bank accounts that they did not really earn (due to the Bush tax cuts) - Obama dances in with his team of talented, bright individuals and...
GASP!!
....does stuff! Passes bills! Carries through on his campaign promises! And, he is bold enough to start bringing the country around to being actually - MORE FAIR - by starting to undo some of the Bush damage. He is giving rousing speeches full of complete sentences and complex thoughts. He is waking the public from its 8 year stupor from stupid.
No wonder the Media of Lies and Entitlement are pissed off. No wonder the right wing MUST escape to a conference and have speakers and topics that have nothing to do with what the American people need or want.
What we are seeing is incredible, people. A whole party engineering their irrelevance.
Stay strong and keep the faith. Enjoy the feeling of having the wheel of the car, and driving on the right road.

1. From his approval ratings, |

I'd say the American public is for Obama. Another point that is brilliant, imho, are his numerous speeches and press conferences, which the media must cover--yeah, their spin meisters are there, but Obama has pointedly and repeatedly told the folks to go to recovery.gov -- and I think people are doing it. They are seeing what is going on. And if they don't---I'm an office manager for a non-profit foundation, and use Quick Books to do the accounting. We've already had an alert about the changes in withholding. Links going to the IRS say to start the lower withholding ASAP and by April 1 at the latest. Reading that was refreshing--and something that the MSM can't spin either.

2. And the media must acknowledge the SUBSTANCE, which actually requires them to THINK! HAHA! |
|
No more parroting asinine, and, too often, insane sound-bites, slogans, and lies.

3. he does seem to be (for the most part) to be letting policy determine the politics |
|
Whereas Bush was all politics all the time and there really was no policy.

5. They and the punditry (media) don't seem to be aware of what he is doing |
|
they are so tied up in the day-to-day news cycle they don't see the fundamental shifts towards social justice and the progressive format of governance (professionalism) that Obama's team is initiating. We all know that the reason that they are ripping themselves apart over the A.R.R.A. bill is because they know it will work. It completely, publicly lays their "beliefs" and "ideals" bare.
