Chuck Todd is an A**Hole...
Just seriously. These people are just around to sabotage the president. I don't mind being critical, I just have issues with lies and serious misleading information. Toss in D. Gregory and their buddies. They seem to be pushing more for us to stay in this long winded worthless war. They want us all over Iraq, yet we have to be in Pakistan and Afghanistan...where are we getting the troops? Where are we getting the resources? How much more money are we going to spend on this? I'm tired of these people carrying titles of being "pundits" but manipulating the citizenry.

1. OT - but I can't believe you have that NYT mag
pic. I read that article. It was very interesting.

Sure, he's got warts, but I felt sorry for him. He's the most erudite of
any of them (including Russert). But little respect.

BTW, yes, Todd is an Ahole. He was ok during the election with the number
crunching. But he is in way over his head on real political analysis.

I think O thinks that way too. He can eat him up and spit him out.

4. I thought it represented Tweety the best.
He seems to always be laughing at his guests and he actually does instigate and like the fights on his show. He has warts?! Poor man. Yeah Todd is a problem, I hated him with the numbers because he was always screwing them.

6. I thought that he used to be ok on the numbers
Edited on Fri Feb-27-09 12:24 PM by ErinBerin84
but maybe a memo went out of something after that, because after a while, I noticed that he would start to be really conservative or would contradict things he had said earlier. I even remember him saying something like "we may have midlead the public too in making it seem like more of a horserace." Uh, ya think? Heh, I remember when he kept saying that there was no way that Obama was up that much in Michigan, and was shell shocked when McCain pulled out of there. I also think that his questions as white house press corps member could be a lot better most of the time. Like when he asked if Obama would veto the legislation if no Republicans voted for it...the fuck? This is your big debut, Chucky, try not to embarrass yourself there.

2. Chuck is ok sometimes, but when he is annoying, he's really annoying
I've said it before, but I don't think he likes his job. He definitely seemed happiest on numbers. And remember his "If the White House doesn't give us more access, then we might not want to report their message" or some weird veiled sounding threat? Sadly, I'd still take him over Gregory most of the time. Gregory just is that bad.

3. They know that POTUS is going to be very successful with this new budget,
monies being sent to Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan will no longer be pouring out of the coffers. I have no doubt that POTUS knows exactly what he's doing and I think, if they're honest, these "pundits" know it too. They're not dealing with stupid by any means and this really scares them.

7. That's been obvious to anyone paying attention since his toady
head popped up on msnbc. just because he could crunch numbers (with questionable accuracy) during the primaries many fawned over him.

10. I think we've established
that the corporatemediawhores have one goal in mind and that is to 'cause confusion with the American People. Reporting just the facts is not in their repertoire of abilities.

They all need to be held accountable for their dereliction of duty.

11. did you hear tweety last night?
he totally castigated the republican who was on with barney frank for the use of 'democrat'. he said that the party calls itself the 'democratic party' not the 'democrat party' and the republicans should just cut that sh*t out. he didn't just mention it in passing . . . he was right in the guy's face, figuratively, of course.

it was great. i have heard him say this before in passing and fairly recently . . . too bad he could not have taken them down 8 years ago. has anyone posted the vid?

19. i'm not sure that recommends you.
tweety is a fair weather friend. i'm glad he's finally calling out some republicans but he should have been doing it for the last 8 years. he also hasn't endeared himself for some of his comments to/about women.

17. MTP ratings have gone down with Gregory as host
Meet the Press with David Gregory was again the #1 public affairs show last Sunday, with more than 4 million Total Viewers. But CBS (#2 this week) and ABC (#3) are gaining. When compared to last February, Face the Nation and This Week are up more than half a million.

The Bob Schieffer-moderated show on CBS had its best outing in Total Viewers in more than four years (since Jan. 23, 2005)

For Sunday, Feb. 22:

Meet the Press - 4.14 million Total Viewers
Face the Nation - 3.64 million
This Week - 3.52 million
Fox News Sunday - 1.51 million

By comparison, here's how the Sunday morning shows finished Feb. 22, 2008, as the Presidential nominations heated up:

Meet the Press - 4.36 million Total Viewers
Face the Nation - 2.97 million
This Week - 2.88 million
Fox News Sunday - 1.56 million
