Rep Patrick McHenry was just on saying that the GOP won the stimulus debate, and that conservatives will win back the country by...twittering....and uh...facebook profiles! Yes, this is the brilliant plan. He was also going on and on about how "it wasn't enough for Democrats to take the White House....or the House and Senate, but they want to overturn the constitution! They gave the census duties to Rahm, which is like making Charlie Rangel in charge of your taxes! Rahm won't look me in the eye these days, and I don't care. I don't want to look the devil in the eye..." and made the audience do a round of applause to Judd Gregg for turning down "the most plum job out of Washington."

Seriously, anyone who wants to get a major boost in confidence in the Democratic party should watch this.

7. It really is sad
Some woman (didn't catch her name, some Tax blah blah blah ) was just on repeating" You sign up. When Nancy Pelosi pushes her next tax and spend plan, we alert. you call. When Harry Reid pushes his new tax and spend plan. We alert. You call." Yes, the brilliant plan is to call fucking members of congress RIGHT NOW! This is how she says the GOP will "utilize the technology that Obama did during his campaign."

8. Seriously. And they made fun of Al Gore for "inventing the internet"
It seems to me that the Rethugs are a bit late to the internet party....Prez Obama kicked their butts using it in the campaign.

10. McHenry Should Be Glad That Not Looking Him in the Eye is all Rahm Does These Days
I know a lot of folks here on DU don't like COS Emanuel, but I would pay money to watch him round up Boehner, Cantor and this idiot and just scream obscenities at them for an hour.

These idiots obstruct and cry and carry on like 5 year olds who didn't get there way.

12. Anyone sign up for the alerts from NTU?
I figured it was a good way to "DU" their stupid alerts. We can call our legislators every time they send out an alert and tell them what a great job they are doing.

Demographics.Demographics.Demographics.Demographics.Demographics. Demographics.Demographics.

The Republic Party as we know it is past its apogee.

No matter how many brown people they pay to stand in front of a camera for them, they are toast unless they completely repudiate the right-wing fundie nutjob states-rights millionaire-worshippers from the party.

But the money controls the message, and they are adddicted to the money.

14. These people are way too late and way behind. They act
as if their plans are working. They are getting further and further behind.

And he may want to not fuck with Rahm. He will lose that battle. Bet on it!
