The Democratic Party is in good hands with Limbaugh at the helm with the GOP
I just finished watching Rush Limbaugh speak at the CPAC Convention on CNN.

Nearly every sentence he deplored was either a lie, a fabrication, a Dittohead standby from Yesteryear or he simply contradicted the previous sentence he spoke. His college dropout background was evident in his screed. This is a man, a drug-addled gasbag, who knows what to say to an angry, ignorant, racist homophobe and does it very well. This is a man who obviously could never make his speech he made in an audience where brains and scrutiny were available. This man is a coward. A slob. A hateful blowhard.

The crowd at this convention loved him. He even did a "terrorist fistjab" with some of the clowns on stage.

These people have no idea how the grassroots movement works except when it's about stopping abortion. Sure they have buses that go to DC to protest abortion and signify their ignorance of the complexity of the issue.

Limbaugh hopefully will be the face of the GOP. Now that Jindal has faded and fallen on his sword and the theocratic elements within the party will never allow a Mormon like Romney to be the Presidential candidate. Palin could be the choice, which certainly would guarantee a Democratic landslide in 2012.

With Limbaugh mentioning about the score, he must know that the last two elections spanked the tired, fumbling Republican party. With his divisive, half-witted delivery in his speech today, he will help set the course for more overwhelming GOP defeats in 2010 and 2012 and BEYOND.

All hail the Ditto King! He is aiming the GOP Ship of Fools right into the iceberg at full speed. He even thinks conservatism is unsinkable. From the shape he's in, I bet he's not a very good swimmer.

4. Did he actually SAY that?
He exists for one purpose only - to convince poor and middle income Americans that the republican party is not screwing them over. And he's done a pretty good job of it so far. But that's because the Dems haven't countered his BS with any substantial proposals or policies. As we know that's in the process of changing. As it does and as the results become apparent, he'll trip over his own hubris and slowly fade away.

5. Obviously, these folks aren't the R's who gave Barack Obama 42% job approval in latest Gallup poll.

Limbaugh appeals to the knuckle dragging base of their party--'the angry white men and women,' whom CNN's Bill Schneider identified as his supporters after his speech today.

Obviously, none of them are the Republicans who give Barack Obama a 42% job approval in the latest Gallup daily presidential poll.

9. I noticed at the other site they were all wishing he would be the candidate.
Can you imagine the background/vetting process and what they would find about this scumbag? The FReepers contend he would never run because he's where he should be on the radio and the cut in pay would never appeal to him. I wonder if they realize how bad/awful he really is and what a good vetting would produce. They'd have to interview his ex-wives, etc. Oh boy, almost makes me wish he'd run...LOL.

11. Even a couple of Freepies noted that Rush appears to have returned to his "old ways".
I'm watching him now and he seems quite a bit hopped up on something. And on the verge of a massive heart attack.

12. I think you are correct on the possible heart attack
I wouldn't wish that on anyone, but he physically looks very stressed out and appears a prime candidate for a myocardial infarction.

entertainer, and HE (Steele) is the head of the GOP!
