MTP - Why Did Gates Have Such A Problem Answering The ? - What's The Difference Between Bush & Obama |
|
he struggled with the answer to that question and I think that millions of Americans watching (like myself)were screaming at the TV screen all kinds of differences - yet he couldn't verbalize it or had trouble trying to answer that. Why?

2. I suspect that he was trying to be polite. |
|
He's finally got a Prez with whom he can communicate, who can understand, and wants to understand.

5. I think he just couldn't think fast |
|
enough to come up with an answer that wouldn't slam his former boss. It is hard to make such a comparison without putting down Bush.

6. That's a tricky question--he was probably trying to be diplomatic and discreet. |

10. He quickly answered yes, that there ARE differences. Then he made it clear that Obama, unlike Bush, |
|
listens to everyone and ASKS for the opinions from everyone while Bush doesn't ASK for differing opinions. He was being polite to Bush but he implied the whole truth will come out in a book.

was trying to be as nice as possible, but still ended up slamming GWB at bit . The fact that his most diplomatic answer was Obama was more analytical isn't exaclty a rining endorsement his old bosses thinking skills.
