Edited on Mon Mar-16-09 10:50 PM by FrenchieCat
I hope Barack Obama passes everything that he can in the next 2 years, cause it might be curtains after that!

Thank you Corporate media,
We wouldn't know what to get "outraged" about
without your help! :hi:

They try damn hard!

They are going for the set up!

I do think that Obama won't let it happen,

5. I do. MSNBC who I thought had SOME credibility had been pissing me off.
So far only Shuster, Olbermann, and sometimes Maddow are coming through for me. The rest of them are inciting it. T/Cameron who comes on early in the day along with the other women are just supporting and pushing the meme. And when they allow the idiot wingnuts to expand because they don't have the clear knowledge nor the facts and information in the the top of their head to refute the lying rhetoric is pissing me off.

6. They can only push it with the administrations help,by having Geithner and Summers
running the show it definitely sends the message that big corps have someone on the inside looking out for their interest.

11. Comment on CNN's state of mind from someone that came from them......
CNN: rock bottom garbage
Submitted by drphonic on Fri, 03/13/2009 - 8:30pm.
As someone who worked at cnn for over 8 years I can tell you that the executives there are the most conniving scumbags on the planet & couldn't give a crap about journalism. They exist to sell you a product: whatever their overwhelmingly republican advertisers & masters want. Oh, and fear of course. I'm sure most buzzflash readers are aware of that, but the extent to which they will go to keep progressive ideas out of their newsroom should make any decent American sick. Since they have no ideas, they ASK for suggestions on stories. If, god forbid, your idea has any progressive value, they will ignore it, even denying its newsworthiness. Then you will find yourself being lied about and eventually run out. I guess this garbage is happening all over the country, but don't for a minute think that cnn is an actual news outlet. It is a big business, run by one of the largest corporations in the world. Plain & simple.

14. More like stupid,
because in the end, we are the ones who will not get the policies that we voted for.

It ain't personal, it's using common sense.

Colbert had it right when he lampooned the Pichfork mentality aspect that is being pushed,
although the media wants us to interpret Colbert as being serious in that segment.

Democrats as out-of-touch elitists. or both. Reality doesn't matter a lot of the time.

20. President Obama has always been a target for the media.
24/7 Reverend Wright
24/7 Bill Ayers
24/7 Acorn

and any number of other fake outrage stories. President Obama is bigger then all of those and bigger then the current one and hopefully any future outrages dreamed up by the media and GOP. We should give the man more credit and this outrage too shall pass as President Obama's plan starts to work.

I will tell you this though. AIG will get pounded by the people because it is wrong. But if you are willing to take a step back and see it for what it is a gift of foresight. The exact same outrage will be worked up over the budget and teacher bonuses or merit pay you can mark my words on this. Maybe not this year or next but not long after it will be on the chopping block and this bonus outrage will be invoked again. Outcome an overall reduction of teacher pay.

Outcome; an overall reduction in anything we thought we'd get with a Democratic administration.

Those who see the forest for the trees understand this.
