Republicans hate that Obama is liked because they need an enemy. |

They don't want America to be liked. They want every nation on earth to hate the US because it creates the Us Versus Them mentality that dominated the Reagan and Bush years. In the 80s, it was the Soviets and Latin America, under Bush, it's the Middle Eastern and Latin nations. They hate the idea of America being liked because it takes away an enemy and they can't succeed without painting this image that the United States is despised around the world for its freedom.
So when they see Pres. Obama talking with many of those same leaders we deemed enemies not even a year ago, it burns them up inside. Peace is not an option, normalcy among nations is not their wish. They want war, they want division and they want a bogeyman.
If Obama changes that and makes America liked around the world, creates even more allies and actually pushes reform through diplomacy, well then they lose that bogeyman.

1. True, but they are pretty good at making up shit to create bogeymen for this |
|
purpose. They never let FACTS get in the way of a good dose of paranoia.

3. You're right there, they are very good at creating a bogeyman. |
|
Hopefully Obama can prove the United States works best when it's not walking around as the bully and turning every other nation off.

2. You win the prize for today!! |

This should be the message that is put out in the market. We need to make them defend their hate against US citizens and against the country. As we all know they are incabable of coming up with a logical argument. Without their hate and their boogeyman they have absolutely nothing.

5. Yup. Let's hear why Chavez is a threat to America. |
|
We might not like what he says, we might not like his form of government, but why is he the enemy? Is it solely because he's a leftist because if it is, that's a pretty unremarkable reason to peg a leader as a bogeyman.

4. Exactly. They hate that he's attractive and they hate that he's building relationships. |
|
They're basically sociopaths and I don't use that term lightly.

6. They always need an enemy, foreign or domestic |
|
Latin Americans (especially Cubans), The Soviets, Muslims, socialists, gays, minorities, etc.
They need an enemy they can lob grenades at from their doom bunkers.

7. Some believe the Darkside is what is needed. |
|
They even say it in interviews.
Although I know no person or group is all good or all bad, I believe turning to the lighter side, love kindness, and openness is better.
They denounce things like love is better then fear.
They claim people, the average everyday people, can not choose there own fate, because they think they are better. Removing free will, by not giving true information, a requirement for people to be able to make a decision.
They believe in hiding and secrecy, versus teaching and learning.
I think it is pretty clear.
