3. A Write-In Could Win!

In Prince Georges County MD a few years ago, a incumbent democratic state representative (?) had serious legal and ethical issues. The Republican was a sacrifical lamb who was a lightweight, not to mention a lunatic.

The Democratic party dropped thier support for the incumbent and successfully mounted a write-in campaign for a well-respected democrat. Only case I know of where a write-in would win.

I could see the same thing happening in LaRouche vs Bush.
