Field report from a most successful Obama OFA regarding health care

At the conclusion of our OFA - everyone in attendance at the end of the meeting raised their hands in favor of Obama adopting a single payer health insurance for all Americans.
One physician who was in favor of a plan of private and public plans together - jumped ship by the end of the meeting and joined the rest of the group and voted in favor of single payer health plan.

There was only one vote against single-payer. You are never going to believe who it was from? It was from a health insurance agent who attended our meeting. I think she was feeling more than a little bit uncomfortable.

We also decided to form a grassroots group to educate, organize and advocate for a single-payer health plan for all. We will be setting up a yahoo group to facilitate communications between us.

Everyone walked away from the meeting completed jazzed except the poor health insurance saleswoman!!
