Is beheading an American not a "Terrorist Attack" |
|
Isn't the policy of the US to protect All Americans, how can these * claim we are safer, they let 9-11 happen, we never saw American's on TV being beheaded on Clintons watch? What the hell folks, elect the asshole and we never have to worry about teaching our children about the rest of the world, we will not travel outside the US, we will become little pussies because we will be "afraid" and for good reason, the terrorist will have won, but we will be "getting" them where they live instead of where we "pretend" to live free.

1. When Bush says "we" are safer he means himself, his friends/family |

"Catastrophic Success," and all that...
I feel so horrible for the hostages and their families. I can't imagine what they are going through.

4. It's tragic.. but on the other hand... |
|
Some of these guys chose to leave the US and travel there, despite the risks involved.
This is NOTHING compared to having a death rain pour out of the sky and rip your children to pieces. Now THAT is terrorism, no matter how these fucking war pig, elitist, bastards try to frame it.

6. Don't you think that is exactly the point? |

It is a sickening event and maybe just maybe enough Americans will get so sick of it that some sanity will return to our country.

7. That's the whole point of any terroristic act |
|
One of the things that really irritates me to no end is Bush's insistence that terrorists behave like they do because they "hate our freedoms". That is so simplistic and absurd. When you look around the world at the groups who use terrorism as a means of accomplishing something, they are all people who either are or feel oppressed by a majority that does not hold their interests into account when making policy. Terrorism is born out of frustration and inability to affect the world in any conventional way. This doesn't make it right but it sure makes it more complex and it cries out for a different solution than just overwhelming military might.
