Michelle Obama visited Moscow's St. Dmitriy Orphanage during her husband's trip to Russia, meeting with some two dozen children and watching a musical performance there, ABC reports.

ABC: "Several of the children performed for Mrs. Obama – some sang, others played piano. They presented her with handmade gifts, including a large geometrical ball made from paper, and a large framed hand embroidered flower. The young girl who presented the flower said it had taken her two days to complete.

"The children asked Mrs. Obama how many children she has. She responded, two girls, including one named Sasha. Mrs. Obama explained that Natasha is Sasha’s full name, and that it is the President’s favorite name. "'How many Sasha’s do you have here?' she asked the group. There were three in all. Mrs. Obama told the children that her daughters are spending the day with their grandmother making dolls."

3. I just feel sorry for her poor feet. Women should just say no to spike heels
except as costumery.

24. As a self-admitted shoe addict
Those shoes are not that bad. They look like that they are about two inches max and the shape is more kitten than stilettos. Now the toe is pointy, but it is a mid high heel.

5. Children just naturally gravitate right into her arms don't they..
She has such presence! And in these pictures I see a sweetness both in Michelle and in the women and children she's meeting. And it's no coincidence that she visits the Nurses of the Sister's of Mercy Hospital because obviously she's continuing her message of community work, and visiting local schools. And she looks gorgeous!

10. Great pic's!...
She is one of the most striking of First Ladies in so many aspects. Grace, poise, diplomacy, dignity, respect...if it's a postive, she's got them all. The grace of Jackie Kennedy and the drive of Eleanor Roosevelt wrapped up in a package of warmth and understanding.

Kids seem to just gravitate to her, and she to kids. The warmth you feel when you see the pics of her and the president holding hands, not the cold, "I do do this because I have to" look when I see bush/pickles pics, the 180 is astounding.

The woman is stunning, so alive, so vibrant...so there...:D

14. Yeah, she has curves but at the same time she is in great shape. I wish I had her arms.
And her height. I am so short in comparison.
