1. She doesn't have handlers now |
|
as if she ever listened to them during the campaign. But at least there was some measure of control like when McCain finally told her to STF up. Now, it's pretty much going to be we just sit back and watch the crap that will come out of her mouth. ONly problem is she'll take herself out of the 12 GOP nomination before it ever gets started.

27. Palin then went on to say... |
|
...that if getting the “department of law” to protect her from baseless ethical allegations didn’t work that she would call upon “the department of people who blow shit up” to protect her from baseless ethical allegations. – Wile E. Quixote. Balloon Juice

Dumbya isn't in office, now ...
sure, you'd be protected against "baseless allegations".
It's the real ones (which you will CALL baseless) that you should fear ...

25. Apparently not. I was |
|
mad because she was all over Everywhere when she was in Runner mag saying she had more endurance than Pres Obama.
And, now it's just pathetic. President Obama is in Russia and Al Franken is going to be sworn into the US Senate today, btw.

4. The problem is that her base actually admires this kind of ignorance. |
|
It makes them feel as if she's their equal.
I say that with my tongue only halfway in cheek.

11. Well, one portion of that article speaks volumes to me... |
|
"All I know,” said Rush Limbaugh, per the New York Daily News’ Michael Saul, “is that she is going to continue to fire-up people in the conservative Republican base as often as she speaks to 'em.”
Intriguing nuggets, as the back story comes together: “In the weeks before Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin announced her resignation, she spoke privately with a range of prominent Republican officials – including former Vice President Dick Cheney and former mayor Rudolph Giuliani,”
A dime to a donut says they are going to pay her millions to have her own TV show. She will be able to pay off her debt and then fire up the RW Fundies and gun enthusiasts and bring them back into the fold for whichever candidate her supporters tell her to build up. That way, they will have another voice to combat the likes of KO, Rachel, Ed, Tweety, etc., and make the old guys happy by her winks and down-home "you betcha" accents.
I wondered what Cheney had been up to. Working behind the scenes again.
Rudy confuses me. Does he have that much power to manipulate? I wonder if they had a private meeting? Just sayin'.

Go tell that to Bill Clinton. I'm sure he felt very "protected" after the 5 year persecution he and his wife were subjected to in their years in the WH. Not to mention the millions of dollars in legal fees that they owed by the time they left in 2001.
