Palin on Senator Clinton's response to media scrutiny :
Edited on Tue Jul-07-09 08:13 AM by sufrommich
During a Women and Leadership in March 2008, Governor Palin was asked about Senator Clinton's response to media scrutiny - and criticism...Palin made it clear...that she considered Clinton's conduct unbecoming. Hillary, she insisted, needed to just "plow through":

"Fair or unfair, I think she does herself a disservice to even mention it...When I hear a statement like that coming from a woman candidate with any kind of perceived whine about that excess criticism or, you know, maybe a sharper microscope put on her, I think, man, that doesn't do us any good. Women in politics, women in general wanting to progress this country. I don't think it's, it bodes well for her -- a statement like that...It bothers me a little bit hearing her bring that attention to herself on that level."

Hypocrisy,thy name is Sarah.

4. I'm not sure I believe Palin's handlers were the
least bit effective with her. If they were, we wouldn't know the sheer stupidity that is Sarah Palin.

5. I don't recall Hillary Clinton ever quitting because
the world was "picking on her".

8. Seemed CNN was showing some weakness.
I don't think there is anyone who can take that away from Hillary.

6. You're wrong
Edited on Tue Jul-07-09 08:28 AM by lunatica
Hillary never quit anything, even when everyone who supported Obama was screaming for her to step down. Palin can't hold a candle to Hillary in anything. And Obama ended up asking her to Secretary of State so he obviously respects her. Can you imagine anyone trusting that Sarah Palin would stick to any job once it got hard? Only fools who like to be punked repeatedly would.

10. Just because the Pot calls the Kettle black
Doesn't make the Kettle black. I can't believe I have to explain this.

11. Then you don't get the pot/kettle reference
Edited on Tue Jul-07-09 09:26 AM by lunatica
It's definitely about someone accusing another of the very sins that someone commits. The pot is also black. Just as black as the kettle. The whole point is that the person calling the other one black is pretending to be lily white.

7. Hillary never whined.
She simply stated a fact. The media was vicious toward her, they acted like sexist vultures. They already had decided who their guy was and they were going to make damn sure that they got their way.

It took an SNL skit for the media to finally wake up and even minimally commence to do their job.

Furthermore, Hillary never called Palin a whiner. She actually treated her with respect.

9. ALL she does is whine, but notice the qualifier
"perceived whine." So, if a whine goes out over the airwaves, but it isn't "perceived" as a whine, well, then you can just serve cheese right along with it, and call it a "defense."
