I now know why Palin had faux outrage about Letterman/photoshop
If it's true she had been contemplating quitting for awhile, conjuring up fake outrage over Letterman quip and photoshopped pic of her and baby would help claim "victim". I thought there was something fishy about the Letterman thing. If she was really being a mama bear she wouldn't have wanted the joke the top news story and go on every network talking about it. She could have contaced Letterman behind the scenes out of the media and talked to him if it really bothered her. The fact SHE made it a big news story seemed odd to me.

This lady will use her own kids for political gain. But then play the victim when anyone else brings them up. She is one sick puppy.

1. I bet you are correct. Several DUers noted how scripted it felt at the time. nt

2. Anytime someone steps in front of the camera
you gotta question what their real motive is.

McCain does it all the time... calls a press conference to
say "the president's gotta do this or that".
Why didn't he just phone the President and tell him?
Yeah total poseur bullcrap. I wish the media would
call them out on their hamfistedness.

4. I think you're correct....
She's very emotionally labile. In the Vanity Fair article, "It Came from Wasilla", she was described as "Little Shop of Horrors" by some unnamed person who was part of the campaign team.

I don't think she has the temperament to survive in the political sphere. Her critical thinking skills are just about nil. She doesn't have the ability to focus and do the hard work necessary to bring herself up to speed on world affairs.

She reminds me of Bush in that she's incurious and seems stuck in an earlier stage of development.

She is cunning, however. That and her looks have gotten her to where she is, IMO. With such a dearth of positive qualities, god help us if she ever is elevated to the Oval Office.
