8. He did take Wellstone's seat
but I guess in your mind, that means nothing- and that he should just sell us all out, like some of his sorry colleagues.

and helplessly say "but we have to."

Quite frankly, it's pathetic to watch- and makes me feel that Americans actually do- in most respects deserve EXACTLY what they get.

I personally had already denounced him as a scummy DINO who can't take a stand on anything.

Hey, it worked that way for Olbermann, Maddow, and Helen Thomas. I'm sure Franken will get his turn under the Hopemobile.

*sigh*

bipartisanship. Ed was going off on him.

22. If he's all speeches and no accomplishments, none too soon.
But then again he might have a cadre of syncophants who will suck up to him no matter how vacuous his behavior. You know sort of how the far right reacts towards Sarah Palin, or some on DU act towards.....oh, just forget about it. I'm tired of riding this horse.

27. Depends on what he does to get himself thrown there.
This is basically a liberal/progressive site and Congress is a corporatist entity, the Senate especially. It's rare that we'll be happy about anything they do.

35. He's been a do-nothing Senator since January

Absent for most of the year - what a lame Senator.

He should resign, since he's just going to milk the rest of his term as a lame duck.
