16. I think becoming VP disqualifies one from being included in this poll.
Otherwise "Cheney" would be the obvious choice.

4. Oops, misread as "appealing," not "apalling."

5. Lieberman Hands Down
Edited on Wed Jul-08-09 05:28 PM by Demeter
Palin wasn't a candidate, she was a joke.

Ferraro was a victim of double standards and her slimeball husband.

John Edwards was no worse than any other philanderer, and we've had many of those serve honorably in office.

But Lieberman is a narcissistic psychopath and traitor to the party and the country.

8. Voted Lieberman. But if Andrew Johnson counts, having been a VP candidate, throw him in.

9. I'd have to go with Sarah Palin
Edited on Wed Jul-08-09 06:01 PM by Jack Rabbit
My second choice ("other") would be Spiro Agnew. Third would be Dan Quayle. Curtis LeMay, the retired Air Force general who ran with George Wallace's third party effort in 1968, ranks an honorable mention.

13. They're all appalling in some way. Ferraro in her post-VP-candidacy statements, Edwards is obvious;
Lieberman and Palin have always been appalling (they're both republicans, so what else do you expect?).

17. Palin was the most immediately appalling, but both Ferraro and Lieberman turned out to be AWFUL.
Ferraro eventually turned into a racist Fox News commentator creep, and Lieberman, well ... You know. :grr:
