I just called CNN's **BREAKING NEWS** Tip Hot Line.......
Edited on Thu Jul-09-09 05:45 AM by FrenchieCat
I told them that it appeared that they didn't know that the President was out of the country representing the United States of America at this very minute, and yet all that I was hearing reports about via CNN were about his poll numbers, and how 70% consider him a strong leader, but OMG, that has gone down 10 points since the last poll they reported breathlessly! (Fainting smiley here if I could locate one)

I called them at (404) 827 – 1500 and selected the Breaking news option.....

I spoke with a live person, who, I guess was going to respond to me once I was done speaking,
cause I heard their voice say "m'am.........", but I hung up,
cause I had to go..... to call MSNBC with the same BREAKING News!
Which I did at 1-212-664-4444!

Guess the last thing these corporate newswhores wants is a strong President pushing a public option
in health care reform. That would be too much. So instead of reporting what he is doing, and showing what he is doing during the summit, best they talk about him behind his back while he is out of the country. I don't remember them doing that in Bush's first year, or even his second for that matter. Sounds kind of discriminatory and quite unpatriotic to me.

3. I Noticed Something Similar This A.M. As Well ........
when I awoke I turned on CNN and they were talking about how the stimulus money isn't really creating the jobs as intended and showed the number of jobs lost since the stimulus. I quickly turned to MSNBC where some English speaking woman (had an accent - don't know if she was English - didn't leave it on long enough) was making a point about some town in Texas where cost of health care going up but services going down and how are they policing the same in Medicare(paraphrasing here). She seemed to be attacking Health Reform - but I turned it off right away.

Bottom line it looks like the cable news stations are ganging up on Obama while he is not here to defend himself. It looks like a full court press to get the American public to turn against him.

When is Obama back in the country? He better get back soon because between this full court press and the stupid things Rahm says and the Dems do - he is going to have to do some fast talking to defend himself.

9. I went to bed after calling,
and when I woke up, presto.......I haven't heard as much reporting on "polls" since....although I haven't watch much. Perhaps they "got" the Breaking News I gave them after all? Hope others called as well. Guess I'll go and tweeter them, if I hear more of this bullshit reported this Westcoast morning.

5. I noticed the Fox financial news channel was being advertised
on CNN, so CNN must feel more obligated to scrape and bow to the right than usual.

8. Count all the Big Pharma commercials on the TV channels and...
...you have your answer why the MSM puppets don't want to discuss issues like healthcare reform.

Big Pharma pays a lot of money to advertise on these channels. Do you think they would continue having their ads on a channel if it suddenly became real journalism?
