Dammit, I know that he only read the speeches, but could Bush |
at least get the inflection correct on his opening phrases as he addresses the UN?
I am listening to an NPR re-broadcast and once again he can't get the inflection right on 2 out of three sentences. We here in the US know he will do it and can brace our sensibilities for the onslaught of idiocy. Those poor non USers have little clue what is coming - they know they are about to get addressed by the village idiot of Crawford, but they don't know the horrors of language misuse they will suffer.

1. Did you notice that he actually paused after expected "Applause Lines"? |
Nauseating. And, he seemed a little miffed that his planned-pause produced silence.

2. I thought he was creepier that usual. |
He seemed unsure of himself, for someone who is sure God is on his side.
