Michelle Obama looked beautiful, she seems always to know what's appropriate to wear. Striking that the girls wore black, too.

Up until the early seventies, we had to cover our hair in church, barely, a piece of lace, but most of us carried a square of lace in our bags for that purpose. I wondered if that is still the protocol when meeting with the Pope in the Vatican until I spotted a news person in the background with her hair uncovered.

Also, something has always struck me regarding Mr. Medvedev -- and meaning no disrespect -- he looks to me like a little toy man.

The vatican is a total bizarro world to me.

I really don't mean to insult catholics, just the pope and his own personal nonsense.

It's la la land. Period.

John was a sweetheart, but all the medieval costume and ceremony just makes me wonder if these people go home to real people in real apartments and watch real news and know the difference.

And I really don't like Ratzinger, at all.

But Obama has to do this stuff. I understand.

laughing and cutting up around Obama. I don't recall anyone laughing or even smiling much when Bush was around. If you didn't know anything about those 3, you'd probably think they were the greatest bunch of guys ever! But pictures don't always tell the whole story! lol
