11. Fantastic photos
Love Malia next to Dad--she looks so grown up. Bet she'll be a politician in her own right some day.

15. That last one in the helicopter: If he were a salesman, I'd buy it. Whatever.
That man could sell me snowshoes. Dry milk. Live bait. Anything.

19. I can't help but notice the difference between Obama/bush and
how they are greeted in foreign nations, it is truly amazing.

I know that a lot of these things are "set up" and that many places "choose" who will be in the crowds that gather, but it seems to me, that many "just plain" citizens show up and in virtually all of the cases, people seems genuinely happy to see the First Family.

I know it is difficult to orchestrate all of these things, and when average citizens show up, no one really knows what's going to happen, but outside of this nation, I see no aversion to the president, at least nothing like what bush experienced.

With all of the problems the African continent has, there seems to be some hope at resolving some of them, (hopefully the violent ones first). If this president can help bring about some changes, it will indeed be a small miracle in a long overlooked continent. Listening to him live from Ghana right now, he is hitting all of the "right" notes as far as I can tell, and the people in the crowd in Accra seem to love it...:D
