5. Pelosi says unemployment benefits may well need to be extended.
And, no, Reich very much wants Obama to succeed. He has said so on more than one occasion.

3. even dem states have repub obstructionists mucking-up local politics.
pressure has to come from an educated electorate.

this is where dems coming in, getting the message out there that stim money needs to be used for job creation, not misuse by repub govs.

4. We are just passing our budget
A lot of the stimulus money is in it because it came in block grants. It's just starting to get out there. But it's not going to fix this economy until credit is fixed. I still know people who are perfectly good credit risks who can't get a $10,000 loan to buy a used car.

8. The Dems in those states should get the word out about that. People have a right
to know, and I bet it wouldn't hurt in terms of picking votes off from the GOP.
