Dear Senator Bayh
In this thread DUer and-justice-for-all reports on a letter received from the office of Senator Bayh.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x8522225

It is mind numbingly mediocre. He attempts to make an economic argument basically against reform, while it has become embarrassingly clear that the economic argument supports single payer.

Particularly gauling is this example of Bayh's strident mushiness:

I will continue to do my best to achieve solvent, bipartisan solutions that provide high-quality, affordable healthcare to as many Americans as possible.

Dear Senator Bayh:

It is possible to provide healthcare to every single person living in America. Everyother developed country does it quite effectively at about half the cost.

Please stop embarassing yourself and get on board with a Democratic solution. Single payer preferably, robust public option at the minimum.

From

All of those Americans that you intend to leave out of the system when you go to bed with the Republicans.
