Assmussen Daily Tracking Poll 51 Approve, 48 Disapprove

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 30% of the nation's voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-seven percent (37%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of –7 (see trends).

Fifty-six percent (56%) favor regulation of campaign contributions, but disclosure is seen as far more important. Forty percent (40%) say it takes $10,000 or less to influence a Member of Congress.

Just 20% of adults favor a federal bailout for financially troubled states and 71% say the housing market won’t recover until the overall economy is stronger. Check out our review of key polls from last week to see “What They Told Us.”
