3. I don't get it
Are they bashing Scarborough? They can't even do that right...look at the times on the bottom of the screen captures. Both appear to be BEFORE anything happened that day. If I calculated correctly, they appear to be from 6:30 in the morning.

5. Scarborough was just 6 days out of being a FL Rep on 9-11...
he resigned on 5Sep01, 6 days before the attacks.

How anyone could push this blatant lie is beyond me. I'm no fan or Scarborough, but this is ridiculous, typical blatant creation of "facts" by the RW Maniacal Society. I would find it interesting if JS decided to sue for slander.

6. Imus was on MSNBC during 9/11, you are correct n/t
From wiki:

...

While on the air during the attacks of September 11, 2001, the Imus in the Morning program was among the few live American broadcasts to continue airing commercials well after the first reports of the attack. These commercials pre-empted word of the second plane hitting the South Tower of the World Trade Center. The commercials that continued to air included one for a major airline, Continental, along with a jeweler based in the World Trade Center, and a spot read "live" on the air for a broadcasting school, in which it was said careers in broadcasting were "exploding." Imus noted the ironic writing, but continued reading the spot. His production staff of 13 years also had great difficulty in simulcasting live TV news coverage when requested by Imus. This staff stayed with Imus after the MSNBC debacle and moved with him to the new ABC/RFD-TV arrangement. Imus is still plagued by technical difficulties, which have become part of his daily comedy diatribe.

7. I cannot fathom why commercials would air during an attack...
especially in the same city and so devastating.

The attacks on 9-11 were so incredibly newsworthy, that the last thing people should have been thinking about was running an ad...:eyes:

On 22Nov63, I, and millions of others were glued to TV sets and radios waiting to hear about what happened in Dallas. When Cronkite took off his glasses, we all knew it was over; the thought of "breaking to a commercial" would have had people in the streets with tar and feathers virtually instantaneously.

I'm no fan of Imus, he appears to be a drunken hack to me; addled and nowhere near the "personality" he was in the past when he actually was occasionally funny.

8. You should definitely send it to Scarborough. Like him or not, he
deserves to know what's being said about him in the name of conservatism.

There are no words for people like this.
